.) ALL engine rules (cubic inch) will be allowed a .030" allowance. This will be for oversizes, rebuilds, and clean-ups. This is the absolute maximum; no exceptions will be made.
.) ALL weights can be changed ant any time for safety concerns as well as parity. The goal is tomake the racing as safe as possible while maintaining parity for heavier riders. We also want to make it as cost effective as we can for everyone. (weights are a starting point until we get some good data on times, combinations, classes, and overall parity). We don't want people to add so much weight that it becomes a safety issue, we also don't want it to be so lite that heavier riders are not
.) Weights are a starting point until we get some good data on times, combinations, classes, and overall parity). We don't want people to add so much weight that it becomes a safety issue, we also don't want it to be so lite that heavier riders are not close to being competitive. The GOAL is to have the weights somewhere in the middle for the majority of the racers to make it as fair as possible.
.) ALL classes run a .400 Pro-Tree
.) Highly recommended front fork travel to have minimum 1" of travel for safety. Fork tie down starps allowed.
.) ALL safety rules will be at the discretion and direction of the track and event promotor.
.) ALL RULES are subject to change for the sole purpose of Safety and/or Parity. Our goal is to provide rules for Fair, Honest, Consistent, and Professional Harley-Davidson Drag-Racing. We want to keep the competition as close as we can for the majority of the racers out there, not just a select few.
.) Just as the NHRA or NASCAR does, if we see a safety or parity issue effecting competition, rules will be changed to make improvements and correct the said issues. This is at the whole discretion of the IHDRA. The "IHDRA Advisory Board" will meet occasionally to discuss competition and safety as well as the overall health of our sport.

Minimum weights will be looked at and adjustments will be made accordingly. The goal is for overall parity for all the racers. Weights are a starting point until we have the data to make such changes deemed necessary and fair. We appreciate everyone's help and support with this and also welcome any input.
